Cathi will share her tips on managing a lifetime of photos, media and memorabilia using a simple acronym, the ABC’S of photo organizing. She will share how she helps clients move from overwhelmed to empowered to tackle this significant , enormous task.

These are trained professionals who works with clients to sort through images, find connecting themes, and neatly catalogue and edit them into photo narratives and albums that you are proud to share – now and for years to come.
In 2009, Cathi had her “light bulb” moment when she recognized that consumers were becoming increasingly overwhelmed with the exploding number of photos, media and memorabilia they were accumulating. She created Appo to support a new and emerging profession of photo managers by providing training, support and collaboration for people interested in adding photo management services to their existing business or as a new business. Since its inception, Appo has grown to over 650 members throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom.
The goals of Appo include educating the public about the importance of photo preservation and organization while providing training and marketing support to it members.
Cathi initially created the acronym the ABC’S of photo organizing to help her client’s address their photo needs. Now she shares her insights with consumers and professionals throughout the United States and Canada. She has been featured on numerous blogs including Your-Digital Life and Live Life Organized and in recent articles on this developing niche in The New York Times, The Atlantic Magazine, Wall Street Journal and Better Homes & Garden. She is a sought after speaker, having presented at the National Association of Professional Organizers annual conference (NAPO 2011 & 2012), NASMM Conference 2011, Professional Organizer of Canada 2011, Tory Johnson’s Spark and Hustle Boston conference (2012), DIMA conference (2013) and was the Fujifilm sponsored speaker at the IPI (Independent Photo Imagers) conference for 2011
